Small Business, big heart. Meet the Owner.

Hey y'all! I'm Ashley. I am a 34 year old inclusion advocate, pre-k teacher, and co-founder of a national inclusion initiative for early childhood environments. Located in southern Ohio. I have a Masters of Education in Counseling & Human Development with a specialization in Mental Health Therapy, as well as an MBA. In my spare time, I love to hang out with my fiancé and my golden retriever who's named after my favorite comedian Theo Von.

Over the years, I have found that one method of my own self-care is handcrafting fashion. As a little girl, I could always be found behind the church pew in the balcony with a notebook drawing outfits with accessories, or selling handcrafted handbags made out of the back pockets of jeans (oh the 90s!).

When I decided to build Holy Mackerel! Macramé, from the ground up, I had one stipulation: do it right. Quality is my number one goal. If I wouldn't wear it, I won't sell it. I only use the best materials even if it cuts my margins slim.
