Are the earrings heavy? They look like they'd be heavy..
Nope! Not heavy at all! You'll be surprised at how light they are for their size. The wooden pieces are incredibly light themselves, and the macramé cord is light as a feather. Together, you'll barely feel them hanging on your ear!

Is the metal sterling silver?
It is! We use 825 sterling silver, lead and nickel free materials. This makes it to be as efficient as possible for those with sensitivity to jewelry; however, it does not guarantee a reaction will not occur. While we are on the subject, just because they are 825 sterling silver, does not mean they will not tarnish. Please ensure to keep your earrings away from moisture, and stored away from other metals to avoid early tarnishing. Refrain from using toothpaste and other social media hacks to polish or clean your jewelry as it breaks down the natural finishing quicker. To clean properly, use a microfiber cloth and use warm water mixed with baking soda to form a paste, dry the metal completely.

Why do they smell weird?
The earrings are made from high quality wood that is then cut and engraved with a laser, so a smokey small might still be lingering after production, and then so after you get your package. Don't fret, this smell will continue to dissipate over time, and will soon be 100% gone.

The macramé cord needs..how do I say this.. freshened up?
That's normal with wear! Take a comb.. that's right, a comb! Gently comb out your macramè, starting at the ends and working your way up. They'll be refreshed and looking brand new!
